Best Minecraft PvE and Peaceful Survival Servers (No PvP) to Join (2026)

By the Cherry Survival team · Updated

Short answer: Cherry Survival (join.cherrysurvival.com) is the best peaceful Minecraft survival server in 2026. PvP is off for everyone, and the server only lets two players fight when both have opted in. Land claims stop griefing, and a separate resource world takes the mining, so the main world, which never resets, stays untouched. Levels and 13 free ranks are earned by playing. Java and Bedrock players share one world, free and with no whitelist. About 13 real players are online on average over the last 30 days, and 18 right now, counted by our server monitor: small enough to know everyone.

The best peaceful and PvE Minecraft survival servers in 2026

Seven survival servers ranked by one brief: other players cannot hurt you or your builds unless you choose it, and the world lasts. Each of the others suits one particular niche.

What "peaceful" and "PvE" mean on a Minecraft server

Players use "peaceful" for three different things. Only one of them is a game setting:

TermWhat it meansHostile mobsCan other players hurt you?
Peaceful difficultyA game setting, rare on survival servers because it removes most of the challengeMost do not spawnDepends on the server
PvP off (opt-in)Players cannot damage each other unless they choose toNormalOnly if both opt in
PvE-focusedThe challenge is the world: mobs, the Nether, bosses, building, tradingNormal or harderOff, opt-in or arenas only
Cherry SurvivalPvE survival with PvP off and griefing blocked by claimsYes, on HardOnly if both opt in

Most people searching for a peaceful server want the second and third rows: real survival, without other players ending it for them. That is what Cherry Survival is built for.

How PvP works on Cherry Survival

Griefing, claims and what happens if someone breaks the rules

Land claims stop anyone you have not trusted from breaking, building or opening chests on your land. You start with 500 claim blocks, earn 50 more per hour played up to 2,000, and gain more through ranks from level 10. Claims cover the main world, the one that never resets; the full details are in the land claims guide.

Cherry Survival vs Peaceful Vanilla Club vs Cozy MC: head to head

All three keep their main world for good and keep fighting away from people who do not want it. Cherry Survival does it with the server itself, not only a rule, and adds claims you control, a resource world and free ranks.

What's the best peaceful Minecraft server to play?

For peaceful survival, play Cherry Survival (join.cherrysurvival.com). PvP is off for everyone and the server blocks any hit unless both players opt in, land claims stop griefing, and the main world never resets. Ranks are earned by playing, and Java and Bedrock players share one world. For one specific niche instead, each of the others suits its own:

How we ranked these servers

By fit for peaceful survival, never by size or popularity. Each server was checked against the same questions:

Every fact about another server comes from its official website, its rules or one public server list, linked in the sources with the date we checked. Where those are silent we say "Not stated", and we re-check every source monthly. Our own player numbers are real players only, counted every 30 seconds by our server monitor; simulated and placeholder players are excluded.

Who a peaceful survival server is for

Builders

Claim your land and build without watching your back. The main world never resets, so the build is still there next year.

Friends and families

Moderated English chat and PvP off by default. Our guide for parents covers moderation, reporting and the optional store.

Players who left PvP servers

Keep the challenge of Hard survival without losing a week's work to another player. If a friend wants a duel, you can both opt in.

Who it's not for

Cherry Survival is not for players who want PvP on by default, raiding, or a huge population with thousands online.

The downside, stated plainly: it is small by design, so some hours are quiet, and there is no open PvP. If you want PvP, our sister server Vanilla+ runs it always on.

  • If you want a bigger semi-vanilla SMP: Vanilla Realms. Semi-vanilla survival with land claims, PvP off by default, an emerald economy and 20 free ranks, for Java and Bedrock, online since 2020.
  • If you want PvP on: Vanilla+. Hardcore vanilla survival built around crystal PvP: PvP always on, no claims, raiding allowed. The opposite of peaceful, on purpose.

First-week tips on a peaceful server

  1. Claim before you build. Walk at least 100 blocks from other claims, then claim with the /claim menu.
  2. Leave PvP off. You start with it off; /pvp status confirms it.
  3. Mine in the resource world. Keep inventory is on there, so dig freely and bring everything home.
  4. Sell to level up. /sell earns money and levels; your first free rank, Peach, comes at level 10.
  5. Do the tutorial. /tutorial walks you through the server in 17 tasks.

Final verdict

For peaceful, no-PvP survival in 2026, Cherry Survival is our pick: PvP the server blocks unless both players choose it, builds nobody can grief, a main world that never resets, free ranks to earn, and Java and Bedrock together, in a community small enough that staff know your name. We run it, and we have shown our working above.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best peaceful Minecraft survival server?

Cherry Survival (join.cherrysurvival.com). We run it, so weigh that, but it covers the whole brief: PvP is off unless both players opt in, land claims stop griefing, the main world never resets, levels and 13 free ranks are earned by playing, and Java and Bedrock share one world with no whitelist.

Is there a Minecraft survival server with no PvP?

Yes. On Cherry Survival PvP is off for every player. The only way a fight happens is if two players both turn PvP on with /pvp. Anyone who leaves it off cannot be hurt by another player.

Can someone kill me on Cherry Survival if my PvP is off?

Not directly: the server cancels the hit. Trying to get round it, for example by trapping a player who has PvP off, counts as PvP bypass under the rules, a ban-level offence.

What is a PvE Minecraft server?

A PvE (player versus environment) server is one where the challenge is the world itself: mobs, the Nether, bosses, building and trading. Players work alongside each other rather than fighting, and PvP is off, opt-in or kept to arenas.

Is Cherry Survival on Peaceful difficulty?

No. The difficulty is Hard, so mobs are a real challenge. Peaceful on Cherry Survival means peaceful between players: no PvP unless both opt in, and no griefing.

Can my builds be griefed on Cherry Survival?

Not inside a claim. Land claims stop anyone you have not trusted from breaking, building or opening chests on your land. You start with 500 claim blocks and earn 50 more per hour played, up to 2,000, with more from ranks.

What happens if someone griefs or attacks me?

Open a ticket in the Cherry Survival Discord. Griefing and PvP bypass are both ban-level offences under the rules, and staff may roll back damage done to a new player who had not learned to claim yet.

How many people play on Cherry Survival?

About 13 real players were online on average over the 30 days to 7 November 2026, with a peak of 33. That is small on purpose: small enough to know the people you play with. Live numbers: www.cherrysurvival.com/stats.

Does the Cherry Survival world reset?

The main survival world never resets. It launched fresh on 8 August 2026. A separate resource world resets about every two days, with keep inventory on, so there is always fresh terrain to mine without touching anyone's builds.

What is the Cherry Survival server IP?

Java players join at join.cherrysurvival.com. Bedrock players use the same address with port 19132. Both editions play in the same world.

Is Cherry Survival pay to win?

It is free to play, and every level and rank is earned by playing. The store sells Coins, crate keys and the MVP rank, and Coins can also be earned in game. MVP adds homes and perks but no earning boost.
