Land claims on Cherry Survival protect your builds from griefing

Cherry Survival uses GriefPrevention land claims, so nobody can build in, break or take from your land unless you trust them. You start with 500 claim blocks, earn 50 more per hour played up to 2,000, and get extra blocks from ranks from level 10. Claims work in the main survival world.
What does a land claim protect?
- Blocks: nobody else can break or place blocks in your claim.
- Containers, doors, trapdoors, fence gates, buttons and switches: only players you trust can use them.
- Animals, including horses, donkeys and llamas.
- Fire does not spread or burn blocks inside claims, and explosions do not damage them.
- Ender pearls cannot be thrown into a claim without access trust.
How many claim blocks do I get on Cherry Survival?
One claim block covers one block of ground, from the surface down. A claim's size is its length times its width.

Rank blocks are a one-time reward when you reach each rank, added on top of your playtime blocks. The levels and ranks guide lists every rank. Removing a claim gives back all of its blocks.
How do I claim land?
- Hold the golden shovel from your welcome kit and right-click one corner of the area.
- Right-click the opposite corner. The claim is created between the two corners.
- A claim must be at least 5 blocks wide and 25 blocks in area.
- Right-click with the stick to see claimed land around you.

How do I let friends use my claim?

Being trusted is not permission to take things. Breaking or taking from a claim you are trusted on, without the owner's permission, counts as griefing under the rules.
Where can I claim, and how close to other players?
- Claims work in the main survival world. Spawn, the Nether, the End and the resource worlds cannot be claimed. The resource worlds reset, so do not build there (see worlds and resets).
- Do not claim within 100 blocks of another player's claim.
- Do not break blocks heavily or place eyesores within 100 blocks of someone else's claim.
- If a new player is griefed because they had not learned claiming yet, staff may roll the damage back.
- Claims can expire if their owner does not play for 60 days.
Can other players hurt me on my claim?
PvP is off by default for everyone. Players who want it opt in with /pvp. Killing, or trying to trap and kill, a player who has not turned PvP on is against the rules.

Can I claim in the resource world?
No. The resource worlds reset and cannot be claimed. Claims work in the main survival world, which never resets.
